Hello Mr. Kang and Water Board Personnel, State Lands Commission and Copied List,

In our Waterboard April 6, 2018 telephonic meeting a comment was made by the Water Board, of their belief that the
oilfield gases migrating throughout the Ballona and Playa Vista landscape and atmosphere, are "naturally occurring.”
Please consider the following email communication as part of the LARWQCB & CAL EPA Complaints( 25061, 23608) filed by GC and as one of the
first in a series of GC communications to the Water Board concerning the issues of oilfield/SCG/ Playa del Rey
gas reservoir gas migration that we will provide.

This information additionally addresses oversight requirements of LARWQCB and partner agencies for the PLAYA VISTA
flood control system aka freshwater marsh system.  The ‘system’ includes the Riparian Corridor and the catch-basin and
other portions of the system inclusive of the Main Drain to Ballona Channel.
